APARTMENT WEST

In cooperation with the architect Rüdiger Semang, a century grade apartment is refurbished in Charlottenburg, Berlin.

The former function as bed and breakfast caused severe damage to the substance. The wild added extra rooms, the high maintenance usage led to the decision to restart from the core. A new floorplan transforms the apartment into a classic apartment with references to english and parisian apartments, but the functionality of a new.

Dark black french herringbone flooring, handcrafted stucco and customized carpentry build the classic canvas of a modern, almost graphic interior. Monochrome and timeless pieces from Brands of Paris, London and Antwerp, strong in design, delicate in fabric and surfaces balance the strong architecture and bare the comfort and functionality needed.
